Possession of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with a pass in at least four (4) non-Religious subjects,   three   of which   must be Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry

Possession  of  Certificate  of  Secondary  Education  Examination  (CSEE)  from  Technical Secondary  Schools with a pass in at least four (4) non-Religious subjects, three of which must be Mathematics, Engineering Science, Chemistry and any one of the following subjects: Architectural Drafting/Building Construction, Electrical  Engineering Science/Electrical Drafting, Workshop Technology/Mechanical Drafting.

OR

Possession  of Certificate of Secondary  Education  Examination (CSEE) with a pass in at least four (4)  non-Religious  subjects,  two  must  be  among  the  following  subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with possession  of TRADE TEST GRADE  I / NVA LEVEL III issued by VETA.

Graduates who go through the curriculum will be able to:-

• Solve basic practical engineering problems using mechanical engineering concepts and principles
• Solve basic practical engineering problems using electrical and electronic engineering concepts and principles
• Solve basic practical engineering problems using automotive concepts and principles
• Use ICT to solve basic engineering problems
• Perform design and maintenance of industrial machines
• Apply basic Electromechanical engineering principles in industrial machines’ control and drives
• Apply basic Electronics and computer knowledge to control, design and manufacture industrial machines and equipment.
• Apply advanced mathematical, communication skills, physical science principles and business skills to manage engineering activities
• Use Mechatronics knowledge and skills to solving engineering problems
• Apply  automation and robotics technology in Mechatronics systems
• Apply safety and environmental knowledge and skills in Mechatronics
• Apply advanced mathematics, physical science principles and entrepreneurship skills to solve engineering and technological problems.

The mode of assessment will be 40% for continuous assessment and 60% final examination

For the practical module 50% continuous assessment and 50% for final examination
